We now show examples using the heitml component libraries. The first example relates to the dba library. It is documented under the dba Tutorial section of the Language Guide. The second example shows and explains the email form library. (Note that in these two examples you will need to use the back button of your Browser to return here, because the back buttons on the demos pages themselves go to the Demonstration section).

Another very important feature of heitml is Session Mode, as documented in the Session Mode section of the Language Guide. The following example consists of several pages, each containing a link to show the source code.

Although the Quick Tutorial ends here, we have only touched the surface regarding heitml's capabilities. We strongly urge you to read the Language Reference to learn about additional features, as well as the Documentation covering the various heitml Class Libraries.

We also propose that you study the Source Code of the pages in this tutorial to see how they work. Remember to click on any User-defined Tag to see its definition. You can learn a lot of useful things in this manner that will be of help when you create your own Tags.

The following tests check if your database handles transactions well. If it does not, you need to adhere to special rules e.g. use lock statements to make you programs work even when performing updates on the database in parallel.
