This page tells you what you need to know about running the Sambar Server with RADpage/heitml on Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003.

If you are using Sambar 4.3 or 5, install the RADpage/heitml CGI version. The setup program will create the necessary association of files with extension .hei and the heitml application. For Sambar 6.0 or later, install either the RADpage/heitml CGI or ISAPI version.
Then perform the following steps (replace C:\heitml2.1 by the directory where you installed RADpage/heitml):

1. Add the following line under [aliases] in the file config\mappings.ini under the directory where you installed Sambar:

/heitml2.1 = C:\heitml2.1\htdocs\heitml2.1

2. For the RADpage/heitml CGI version, add or edit the following line under [http] in the file config\config.ini under the directory where you installed Sambar:

CGI Extensions = *.hei

For the RADpage/heitml ISAPI version, add the following line under [isapi] in the file config\mappings.ini under the directory where you installed Sambar:

*.hei = C:\heitml2.1\program\heitmlisapi.dll

3. Restart the Sambar Server.
4. If you use a proxy server, configure your browser so that no proxy server is used for localhost.
5. Double-click the 'Documentation' icon in the 'RADpage with heitml' program group.

In case of problems:

• Be sure you switched off any proxy server for localhost in your browser.
• Be sure that you restarted the Sambar Server.
