Database Table with Constraint

The following table uses a query to select certain database records. heitml offers constraint components for that purpose. Each constraint restricts the set of database records displayed. You can edit constraints just as other components. Constraint components show up on the page during editing only. To add a constraint, select the dbdisplay and click on the constraint link.

The example contains a single constraint dbconstrain. It checks for the country being Germany. In general, using a dbconstrain compares a database field with a given value. Using the programming functions of heitml the value can be calculated dynamically.
