How to use RADpageThere are three scenarios to use RADpage. Local Developer Scenariomeans to develop a web site on your local computer using the developer version of RADpage. It is well suited to create and test a Web site and to run very small intranets. RADpage Developer is not suited to actually run a Web site or a professional intranet server.Virtual Server Scenariomeans to use RADpage on a virtual server hosted by an ISP. You need a Web hosting provider who supports RADpage itself or CGI-scripts and a database. In the first case the RADpage server version is already installed. In the latter case you can install the CGI version of RADpage, just like any other CGI script, see Virtual Server Install. After installation you can develop on the server directly. Of course you can also develop on your own computer and later upload the pages. Stand Alone Server ScenarioIn the stand alone server scenario you install the RADpage server version directly on your own server. Note that it needs to be connected to the internet via a leased line to publish your own web site. The RADpage server version is the most powerful and most efficient version of RADpage. You can develop your site directly on that server running the browser on any computer connected to it and you can run powerful internet- or intranet servers with it.
