WYSIWYG Editing

To edit the layout it is usually better to use a well known HTML or XML editor. Simple text-based HTML editors work fine with heitml pages created by RADpage. Smart HTML editors or WYSIWYG editors require the pages to be prepared for them. So before editing .hei files with a smart HTML editor or WYSIWYG editor you need to tell RADpage what kind of editor you want to use.

Furthermore, there are two ways of starting an editor:

  1. opening a .hei file directly with an editor (Editor-Triggered), or
  2. navigating to a page and clicking the edit button/menu item within the browser (Browser-Triggered).

Depending on how WYSIWYG Editing is triggered, the way to tell RADpage which editor you use is different.

Note: Using browser-triggered WYSIWYG Editing is a more elegant solution, but it is not supported with all available editors/browsers.
